We’ve hosted over 85 pop-up dinners since 2014. Each one tells a unique story using the absolute best local produce of the moment. Tickets typically go on sale 1-2 weeks before, but you won’t find out the location until the day before the dinner.

We set a single 200’ long of table on the historic Bynum Bridge over the Haw River, and told its story through the family style menu.

Most summers, we host a Thai street food pop-up called Yam Yai as a fundraiser for Transplanting Traditions, a community farm & garden for refugees from Burma. This is certainly not Pad Thai.

We set our table between the rows of old seed pine growth, which became colorfully lit up after sunset. Guests ate their way through the history of the land we sat upon, from the first nation to the present day.

Most dinners last 3-3.5 hours.

Sure, just be sure they can be respectful of the environment for the full duration of the dinner (typically around 3 hours).

Yes. Just let us know in advance.

For Yam Yai, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Beyond that, we can accommodate vegetarians, but we generally are not able to accommodate other dietary restrictions, including vegan or gluten free. Feel free to email us to see if we can accommodate a particular dietary restriction.

Should we need to cancel or reschedule a dinner, we will email ticket-holders directly as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to the pop-up nature of our events, we are unable to offer refunds should events get canceled or postponed due to weather.

Guests are required to have COVID vaccination, although we are no longer checking for proof.

You can get tickets from this page or from the email we send out to our mailing list, which you can sign up for in the footer of the website.

No. Just like a sporting event, concert, or theater ticket, all sales are final.

Yes! This can be done through the Tock dashboard where you purchased your tickets.

Feel free to email us with a list of possible email addresses that may have been used to purchase pop-up tickets, and we will search to see if any of them were used to purchase tickets to the previous pop-up at this location. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee our response.

Most dinners feature communal seating, so plan to come early if you have a large group and would like to sit together.

You should text 919.619.3618 if you are running late so we know you are coming. In any case, the meal will still start on time. If you are late, you will miss any courses for which you are not present.
